Bespoke stories
Written around your guests, venue and brief, rather than pulled from a catalogue.
Bespoke immersive experiences · groups of 6–200
Ink & Plot creates original, participatory experiences for private groups, venues and organisations. Every story is built around the people, place and occasion it is made for.
The idea
Every experience begins with the people who will be there, then grows around the venue, audience and occasion. Whether there are six guests around a table or two hundred people filling a venue, the story is designed to belong to that room.
Written around your guests, venue and brief, rather than pulled from a catalogue.
Guests can take centre stage, hold a small secret or simply piece the whole thing together.
Characters, clues, objects and spaces all work together to make the story feel real.
Built to fit the room
The format changes with the audience. A six-person experience can be deeply personal and character-led. A two-hundred-person event can unfold through teams, staged reveals, physical evidence and shared story moments. The scale changes. The immersion doesn’t.
What Ink & Plot creates
From intimate private gatherings to venue-scale events, escape-room narratives and immersive theatre concepts, the format can change completely. The central idea stays the same: the audience becomes part of a story made for them.
Original murder mysteries and investigations created around your venue, audience and occasion, with participation ranging from central suspects to curious investigators.
Private groups · venues · celebrationsOriginal story-led events combining physical clues, hidden information, characters and audience choice, with the structure designed specifically for the size, setting and energy of the group.
Hospitality · corporate · attractionsStory worlds, character arcs, branching narratives, puzzle frameworks and environmental storytelling created for escape rooms, immersive productions and existing attractions.

Ink & Plot does not sell a fixed menu of experiences. The setting, story and way guests take part are created around the brief, so the finished experience belongs to the people and place it was made for.
A cocktail bar might become…
Menus can carry codes, guests can hold aliases and the room itself can become part of the investigation.
A private celebration might become…
Characters, secrets and clues can be shaped around the group, with everyone choosing how deeply they want to step into the story.
An attraction might become…
Narrative, puzzle structure and environmental storytelling can turn an existing space into something participatory.
These are possibilities, not packages. Your experience starts with your venue, your guests and your idea.
Previous worlds
As Ink & Plot grows, this space will become a collection of real commissions, photographs and stories from previous events. Each case study will show what was created for that particular audience and venue, rather than offering it as a package to buy again.

How it works
We start with your venue, audience, guest numbers, occasion and the kind of experience you want people to have.
The premise, characters, clues, structure and physical details are built around your brief.
Together we settle the format, level of participation and practical details that make it work in your space.
They become suspects, bystanders, investigators or something we haven’t invented yet.
About Ink & Plot
Ink & Plot is a small creative studio by Kit Scott. Within the studio, I craft bespoke, immersive experiences designed around the people and places participating.
Immersion is at the core of Ink & Plot and to achieve this the story must be unique. If an event, location, and guests are all one of a kind, then the entertainment should be too. That’s why Ink & Plot creates stories to suit you.
Each guest can step into the story in their own way. They could be a main suspect, a curious bystander, or someone determined to piece the whole thing together. Whatever part they play, your guests will be talking about the night long after the experience ends.
Something stranger in mind?
Ink & Plot can start with little more than a venue, a group size and an idea. A six-person mystery around a dinner table, a two-hundred-person investigation, a new narrative for an escape room or something that does not have a neat label yet can all begin in the same place: with what would work uniquely for you.
Let’s make something
that only works here.
Start a story
You don’t need a finished concept. A venue, date, rough guest number and the kind of feeling you want to create are enough to start. Ink & Plot can design for groups from 6 to 200.
